Like the sands through the hourglass... the re-release of 'Warm Coals' looms...

I wanted to open this up to any ideas because the world of music artifacts is always shifting so much...
While the Grails full-length is being manufactured both bands are free to re-mangle the material put aside for the 2 upcoming splits...

At some point Partisan wants to release 'Warm Coals' which is a retrospective of pretty much all the cassette/4-track based recordings of HolySons that haven't really been 'released'... the bulk of it will be the songs from the 'Warm Coals' 10" lathe cut that Morc Tapes put out... but there was only something like 80 copies even made,,, it needs to be re-mastered badly,, and there's another LP side worth of unreleased songs... this question is pertinent for the various formats of a lot of our coming releases so I wanted to ask you guys what yr preferred type of release format is in general>?... I still listen to CDs alot.... but for 'Warm Coals' in particular we could do a vinyl-only/digital release... that seems to be in keeping with people's habits these days...

As long as I can get it digitally, one way or another, I'll be happy. I've been lookin' forward to this re-release for a long time.

I collect all formats of music, and as long as it get's into my iTunes and eventually onto my iPod I am a satisfied customer.
Most of my collection of HS's/Grails/ZRiles material are on CD's, so that would get my vote.

Great news about the re-release! Love that 'Move to Sweden' is getting released. I'd definitely love to see this one on vinyl. I'm not picky about download cards, but you can't go wrong with them. I prefer to actually record the vinyl myself and rip the album to my ipod. It's a constant habit. Would there be a chance Drifter's Sympathy and Criminal's Return would ever see a vinyl release? CD's are fine, but I'm crazy about my records.

I'm liking the vinyl with a download card idea, that way we get the best of both worlds...I tend to buy stuff in that format whenever I can these days. but maybe not so good for people without an mp3 player or turntable. I'd be happy with a cd too, just dead keen to hear it really.
