A lifetime of pain... for fifteen minutes of fame.

Now that's something John Walsh could say.

dude,, did you hear about how the Adam Walsh case was supposedly solved recently...?

I had a weird feeling about it,,, Otis Toole was Henry Lee Lucas' gay cannibal sidekick and had been dead for over ten years,,, a strangely easy and sensational person to pin it on although I guess he did operate near the area,, I still have yet to see any new evidence that provoked the announcement.... seriously,, can anyone find any details as to why they came out with Toole being the "likely killer"?

I'm not sure why they would make such an announcement. The boy has been dead for nearly thirty years, and man they've charged with his murder has been dead for fifteen. Maybe they just wanted to give the show a little more credence. It makes me doubt the legitimacy of all these highly-publicized investigations. A lot of politics is involved.

Judging by body language, the officer did not seem legitimately assured by his own words. In fact, it seemed as if under the surface he may have been shaking in his boots. I'm not sold on this...Doesn't look like the family involed was either. It's a placebo effect, they just want to pretend it is over with. Could have very well been correct, but closing the case may have been a bit extreme.
