Yeah I figured that it would'nt be worth driving around to every single club in the area, and maybe you'll find a few new enthusiastic fans that you otherwise wouldn't, but maybe one guy would say "Dudes!!!! You guys were awesome!! Rockin it!! Ah shit, but I can't buy anything, sorry, I'm broke..." or something of the sort, as I've been there.

No problem with not posting sensitive content, I'm not on Facebook so just outta the loop which is alright. I've bought most of your music so I was just putting some ideas out there, have seen Grails every time they passed through town since I had heard of them several years back.

I'm currently on tour with my friend's band. (as the documenter/lighting guy/all round good cunt)
42 shows in 69 days around New Zealand.
Pretty ambitious considering that we're completely independent & self funded and most 'mainstream' NZ bands only do 4-10 stops around the whole country.
We're on the last leg with only 13 shows to go and feeling pretty fucked but everything seems to be paying for itself. We had the CD pressing all paid up before we left but still owed for engineering/mastering. Some towns have guarantees (these vary from $250-$500) + meals and accommodation (most places - we've only used our tent twice over the last 2 months.). For all the places without guarantees we'll just put $10 on the door and hope for the best. Also living by the rule to never refuse anyone if they've got something to give.. coins, cigarettes, whatever.
So far so good.

Pretty keen to get out of the country and have a crack at touring Australia, UK, Europe or the states.
